214 people took the time to write that down.

It is the best rating of any shop I have looked at in this valley.

A note for you, not page copy

Everything above came off your own website. “Handcrafted in the dark” is your line. I did not write it and I would not have thought of it.

It is on your About page, three clicks in. It is the best thing you have written and almost nobody sees it.

Same with the reviews. Four point nine across two hundred and fourteen is remarkable, and it is on Google rather than on anything of yours. So it is the middle of this page instead.

When we are open

This is the one I would fix first, and it is free

Those hours are yours, copied off your About page. Google does not have them.

Google, DoorDash and a handful of directories all say you are open on Sunday, eight thirty to four. I know because I planned to come and see you on a Sunday, and I would have driven to a locked door.

I only found out because I read your own site afterwards. Most people will not do that. They will just find you closed, and they are not going to call and ask why.

Fixing it is free and it is in your own Google account. It is the single most valuable thirty seconds available to you right now.

Where to find us

Deliberately empty No address on this page yet, and no directions button. That is not an oversight.
Why your address is missing, and it is the second thing I would fix

Your website says 237 S. Main Street. Everything I can find locally puts you on Sherman.

I am not going to guess which door to send people to, so there is no address on this page and no directions button. That is not a gap I forgot. It is the finding.

If you moved and the site did not, then the address sending people to the wrong building is the one you own. That is worse than a directory getting it wrong, because you can fix yours today.

Tell me which is right and it goes on in a minute, with a tap-for-directions button under it.

What we pour

The ones with your name on them
Black Magic
Butter Espresso Cake
Two gaps, both yours to close

No prices. The only ones I can see are on DoorDash and Postmates, and those are marked up over your counter price. Putting a delivery price on your own page makes your own shop look like the expensive option.

Categories, not the full list. I know the shape of the menu from your listings but not every drink. I could have filled the gaps with plausible coffee and you would have caught it in four seconds. Write it on a napkin and hand it to me.

Who we are

“Starting with a dream and a passion for the espresso industry, we strive to create a beautifully handcrafted beverage for every customer. With over 30 years of combined experience we hope you enjoy all of our unique and creative drink selections, and will share the experience with others.” Your words, from your About page.

Thirty years is the line, and it is buried

“Over 30 years of combined experience” is the strongest sentence on your whole site, and it sits on a page most people never open.

Somebody choosing between you and a drive-through does not know that. It belongs where they land, not three clicks in.

Kept, because this part you already do well

These are your products at your prices, straight off your storefront. Nothing about your merch needs changing. It just should not be the only thing a first-time visitor sees.

The photographs are yours and I have not copied them across. The empty frames are where they slot in.

The photographs and the logo

Deliberately empty Your skull and poppy is not drawn on this page, and neither are your photographs.
Why I left your own artwork off

Your logo is genuinely good, and it is yours. I am not going to redraw it from a screenshot. A guessed version of somebody's own mark is obvious to the person who owns it, and getting it slightly wrong is worse than leaving the space open.

Same with your photographs. They are already better than anything I would bring. Hand me the files and they go straight in.

One more honest thing: the headings on this page are not your font. Yours is a hand-drawn brush and I do not have it. This is a stand-in so you can see the shape. If we build this properly, your lettering goes back on it.

What this page is

A concept, built to show you what your own material looks like when the things people ask for are on the front. It is not live, nothing has been published, and there is nothing to sign.

Everything I could not verify, listed on purpose

Which address is current. Your prices. The full menu. Your Google review text. Whether the Squarespace domain you own is being built by somebody already.

None of those is on the page as a fact. Every one is blank or labelled. If I will guess at where your shop is to make a page look finished, you cannot trust anything else on it either.

And the one about you rather than me: your branding is better than most of what I see around here. The problem is not taste and it never was. It is that the page a stranger lands on does not tell them whether you are open, where you are, or that you pour coffee.
